A hidden neighbourhood gem. Incredibly good coffee in a lovely cemetery oasis that makes you forget that you are in the middle of the chaos of Hermannplatz. Great place to work and take in the afternoon sun on the patio.

Kaffeebar Jacobi nestled on Karl Marx Street in Berlin offers a brew with a side of existential pondering. Sipping on hipster coffee amidst the backdrop of a cemetery is oddly poetic – a reminder of our mortality while indulging in the pleasures of caffeine. The juxtaposition is strong, just like their filter coffee German hipsters, with their nonchalant vibe, seem unfazed by the macabre setting, but don't you dare disrupt their ambiance with toddlers in tow. It's as if they've accepted death's embrace but draw the line at the chaos of childhood. The casual disdain towards young ones adds a layer of irony to the scene, death and coffee is fine but diapers and coffee is clearly a mortal sin Despite some grumpy staff, one can't help but empathize. Confronted daily by the legacy of revolutionary ideas like Marxism, crafting latte art may seem mundane in comparison. Yet, perhaps in this humble cafe, amidst tombstones and espressos, lies the essence of life's fleeting beauty – a reminder to order that double shot the consequences be dammed Consequences be dammed is unfortunately also how they treat their bathroom hygiene, it seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned since Marx passed

Sat back of the main road in a small courtyard. Great service and coffee. Cake was also exceptional. WiFi and laptops welcome and they take cards. Lots of outside space. Highly recommended.

Came here out of the reviews of "best pastel de nata" and one person from new Zealand reviewed "the best flat white" - I trusted his words and he was right, at least one of the best I've had in Berlin. Love the minimal cups design.

Absolutely adorable and super cozy café with the most beautiful garden! The coffee was spot on, and the staff were just lovely. And the best part? One of the waitresses was Czech! Always such a fun and heartwarming moment to meet someone from home while traveling!

We've tried few cafes at cemetery, and this one IMHO has best outdoor vibes. Also coffee is great, and if you'll be lucky to catch almond croissant - i definitely recommend it
